Today (Tuesday), H.H. Pope Tawadros II began a pastoral visit to the Dioceses and Monasteries of Asyut Governorate. During the visit, His Holiness will meet with the Metropolitans, Bishops, Priests, Monks, Nuns, Consecrated Male and Female Servants, as well as the congregation of the seven Dioceses of the Governorate.

His Holiness will also meet with the parliamentary and executive leaders of the Governorate.

The visit is expected to include, in addition to liturgies and sermons, the consecration of a number of churches, as well as the inauguration and laying of foundation stones for several ecclesiastical, educational, medical, and social service projects.
