His Holiness Pope Tawadros II, accompanied by a number of Bishops, Priests, and Servants, visited today St. Mark Coptic Orthodox Academy at the Papal Residence in St. Bishoy’s Monastery, Wadi El-Natroun.
The visit comes as part of the ongoing preparations for the Nicaea Conference, organized by the World Council of Churches in cooperation with the Coptic Orthodox Church. The Academy is scheduled to receive tomorrow the first group of participants from the Global Ecumenical Theological Institute (GETI), affiliated with the World Council of Churches.
