Today (Tuesday), H.H. Pope Tawadros II arrived in Vienna, the capital of Austria, to undergo his routine medical check-up.

It is expected that His Holiness will hold his weekly Wednesday meeting there, in addition to carrying out a number of pastoral activities.

It is worth noting that Pope Tawadros has had a medical file at one of Austria’s hospitals for more than 17 years, through which he receives regular medical follow-ups — the most recent of which took place in May 2023.
