The team of the official website of the Coptic Orthodox Church organized a training course for administrators of the pages of the dioceses of the See of Saint Mark and the pastoral sectors in Cairo and Alexandria.
The course, hosted at the Papal Headquarters in Cairo, included three training workshops. The first addressed methods of audience development on social media and building an action plan, and was led by Engineer Fady Ramzy.
The second workshop focused on training in social media writing skills, types of content, and storytelling techniques, and was conducted by Mr. Sameh Yanni.
The third workshop addressed methods of influential and effective presence on Meta platforms (Facebook and Instagram), and was led by Dr. Samuel Safwat.
This course comes within the framework of the Coptic Orthodox Church’s plan to develop its media communication mechanisms, enhance the performance level of church pages, and deepen their impact on the hearts and minds of their followers.
The trainees were divided into two groups. The first group received its training last Saturday and included dioceses of Upper Egypt.
The second group included dioceses of Lower Egypt, Cairo, Alexandria, the Canal governorates, and Sinai, and received its training yesterday (Monday).
The total number of trainees reached 80 participants, including priests, male and female servants, with one trainee representing each diocese. Certificates of course completion were distributed to them upon the conclusion of the training.
The official website of the Coptic Orthodox Church is keen to provide its media expertise to all dioceses, contributing to the unification and development of the Church’s media message.
The website also includes a dedicated section for all dioceses of the Coptic Orthodox Church, where each diocese publishes its own content, such as the history of the diocese, its churches, and its services etc…
