His Holiness Pope Tawadros II received, on Sunday, at the Papal Residence in Cairo, Counselor Assem El-Ghaish, President of the Court of Cassation and Head of the Supreme Judicial Council, and Counselor Mohamed Shawky Ayad, Public Prosecutor, who came to extend greetings on the occasion of the Glorious Feast of the Nativity.

The Head of the Supreme Judicial Council was accompanied by a delegation of council members.

His Holiness welcomed the judicial delegation, expressing his joy at their visit and greetings, and wishing them success and guidance in their work and lives.

Counselor Assem El-Ghaish and the accompanying delegation conveyed their Nativity and New Year greetings to His Holiness. During the meeting, His Holiness spoke about the importance of glorifying God through one’s life and conduct, noting that every person bears responsibility for establishing peace, each within his own place and surroundings.

His Holiness also praised the esteemed Egyptian judiciary, highlighting that Egypt is distinguished by a judiciary with a long and deep-rooted history. He emphasized the pivotal role played by judges, a role closely connected to the lives of citizens.
