Today, H.H. Pope Tawadros II received a telephone call from H.H. Patriarch Mor Ignatius Aphrem II, Patriarch of Antioch and All the East of the Syriac Orthodox Church. During the call, H.H. Patriarch Aphrem II inquired about the health of Pope Tawadros II and expressed his joy at the success of the surgical procedure that His Holiness underwent a few days ago. He also affirmed that he, together with all the faithful of the Syriac Church, is praying for His Holiness’ recovery and for him to pass the convalescence period in peace.

For his part, Pope Tawadros expressed his appreciation for the love of His Holiness and all the beloved brethren, valuing his concern and thoughtful inquiry.
