The Coptic Orthodox Church of Egypt, headed by H.H. Pope Tawadros II, extends its greetings to His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, the Minister of Interior, and the valiant men of the police force on the occasion of the 74th Police Day.
The acts of heroism and sacrifice associated with this commemoration present before us a living example. Today and always, we set before our eyes what the men of the police force have demonstrated on this occasion in terms of courage, considering it a model of selflessness and sacrifice that they continually offer in order to protect the homeland. We also recall the pivotal role of this national institution in preserving security and safety during the most critical moments.
As we value the role of our Egyptian police in the past, we trust in the importance of their role in the coming phase as one of the pillars of the New Republic. We pray to God to preserve and protect our country, Egypt, and to grant it enduring security and stability.
