Today (Friday), H.H. Pope Tawadros II met at the Papal Residence in Cairo with the Church delegation that participated, as part of the Oriental Orthodox family’s delegation, in a visit to the Vatican, upon an invitation from the Vatican’s Dicastery for Promoting Christian Unity.
The delegation presented a report to Pope Tawadros on the visit, which lasted for one week (January 31 – February 7). The program included visits to the Vatican in all its institutions and affiliated academic institutes, during which they met with H.H. Pope Leo XIV and a number of Vatican officials.
The delegation was composed of Fr. Andrawes St. Bishoy, Fr. Michael Ishak, Priest of Saint Abu Sefein’s Church in Hadayek El-Qobba and Fr. Antonios Girgis, Priest of Saint Mark the Apostle’s Church in El-Muharraq.
