His Holiness Pope Tawadros II held a meeting today, Monday, with monks from a number of Coptic Monasteries.

His Holiness congratulated the monks on the Glorious Feast of the Resurrection and delivered a spiritual address entitled “The Identity of the Monk.” A documentary film about St. Mark’s Coptic Academy was also presented, introducing the monks to its vision, objectives, and roles.

The meeting was attended by 575 monks from various monasteries.
