His Holiness Pope Tawadros II begins today a new overseas tour that will last for more than two weeks, during which he will visit Turkey, Austria, Italy, and Croatia.

The tour includes pastoral activities as well as meetings with official authorities and Church leaders in the four countries.

On the pastoral level, His Holiness will participate in the Conference of Bishops of the Diaspora Dioceses and will hold a meeting with youth from several dioceses in Europe, in addition to many other pastoral activities.

Accompanying His Holiness are Their Graces Metropolitan Daniel, Metropolitan of Maadi; Metropolitan Thomas, Metropolitan of Qusiyyah and Mir; Bishop Angaelos, Bishop of London; Monk Fr. Emmanuel El-Muharraqy, Director of the Papal Office; and Fr. Mark Assad, priest of our Church in Turkey.
