This evening, a dialogue was held between His Holiness Pope Tawadros II and the youth participating in the European Youth Meeting, which His Holiness inaugurated yesterday evening in Obersiebenbrunn.
The discussion featured a series of questions from the youth centered around the theme of the gathering, “Salt and Light.” Their questions addressed topics such as: How can I be an ambassador for Christ? How, as a child of God, can I face the challenges encountered in the diaspora? As a Christian, how should I engage with those who hold values that differ from or oppose my faith, such as atheism? And how can I discern God’s plan for my life?
In a touching gesture reflecting their love and appreciation, each young participant presented a flower to His Holiness. These flowers formed a large and diverse bouquet in his hands. His Holiness expressed his gratitude and joy for this meaningful expression.
His Holiness had inaugurated the “Salt and Light” youth meeting yesterday evening at the Obersiebenbrunn Municipal Hall in Austria, with the participation of 326 young men and women representing ten dioceses across Europe.
