Throughout the day, sessions of the Conference of the Dioceses of the Coptic Orthodox Church in Europe, America, and Australia were held. Two sessions took place during the morning period, and the outcomes and recommendations of both sessions were later presented and discussed with the participants during the evening session.
His Holiness Pope Tawadros II had inaugurated the conference yesterday evening, with the participation of 30 metropolitans and bishops representing dioceses in Europe, America, and Australia.
The conference is discussing the future of the Coptic Orthodox Church in the diaspora through the year 2050. Its program includes six main themes: connection with the Mother Church, ministry and pastoral care, monasticism, consecration, theological institutes, and ecumenical relations.
