This evening, the Synodal Committee for Rites held its meeting as part of the annual session of the Holy Synod committees.

It was followed by the meeting of the Synodal Committee for Family Affairs, during which the coordinators of the subcommittees of both committees presented reports on their work. The discussions concluded with agreement on the recommendations to be submitted for presentation during the general session of the Holy Synod.

The Rites Committee includes:

1. The Liturgy Committee
2. The Hymns Committee
3. The Recognition of Saints Committee
4. The Coptic Language Committee
5. The Coptic Heritage Committee
6. The Translation Committee

Meanwhile, the Family Committee includes:

1. The Marriage Preparation Committee
2. The Married Couples Committee
3. The Childhood Committee
4. The Men’s Committee
5. The Elders Committee
6. The Women’s Ministry Committee
