H.H. Pope Tawadros II: “As the Church continues to expand throughout the world through the work of the Holy Spirit, it requires servants who faithfully proclaim the Word and serve with all their hearts. Love is the foundation of every successful ministry.”
On Saturday evening, H.H. Pope Tawadros II attended the closing ceremony of the First LOGOS Development Program, which was held at the LOGOS Papal Center at the Monastery of Saint Bishoy in Wadi El Natroun.
The ceremony was attended by H.G. Bishop Yolyos (General Bishop of Old Cairo and the Bishopric of Public, Ecumenical, and Social Services), H.G. Bishop Pavly (General Bishop of the Montazah Churches Sector in Alexandria), a number of priests and the lecturers and trainers who participated in the Logos Development Program.
During the event, His Holiness delivered a pastoral and paternal address to his spiritual children, emphasizing that the foundation of a good servant begins with the responsibility of a virtuous family. He also stressed that the Church, in its continual expansion throughout the world through the work of the Holy Spirit, needs servants who actively proclaim the Word and serve wholeheartedly.
He added: “Love is the source of every action undertaken by a person, and it is the foundation of every successful ministry.”
The ceremony concluded with His Holiness presenting commemorative gifts to all attendees.
The First LOGOS Development Program, launched under the theme “One Body, One Spirit, One Hope,” began in March 2026 and continued over a period of 100 days. It was the first gathering of its kind, bringing together approximately 200 LOGOS servants.
The program featured 21 lecturers and trainers. Its core formation included three major conferences, interspersed with educational courses for participants, with the aim of preparing and developing servants and equipping them to serve the Church and society with greater effectiveness and impact.
