Today (Thursday), H.H. Pope Tawadros II received at the Papal Headquarters in Cairo, a delegation of students and teachers from Genesis International School in Cairo.
The delegation included students and teachers from Romania, Denmark, Algeria, and the Democratic Republic of the Congo. The visit took place within the framework of a student exchange program between Genesis International School and the organizations: Riltaw in Romania and Alberto Coto in Spain, both of which are involved in educational activities, training programs, and academic competitions across several countries worldwide.
The international student delegation’s visit to Egypt includes tours of a number of the country’s historical landmarks and major institutions, with the aim of strengthening student relationships and fostering a deeper understanding of Egyptian culture.
Pope Tawadros welcomed the members of the delegation and spoke with them about Egypt’s rich history and contemporary development, as well as the history of the Coptic Church, its national role, and its presence and global widespread.
