The Coptic Orthodox Church, under the leadership of His Holiness Pope Tawadros II, extends its congratulations to His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi and to all Egyptians on the occasion of the 13th anniversary of the June 30 Revolution.
This revolution represents a defining moment in Egypt’s modern history, as it clearly demonstrated the profound civilizational awareness of the Egyptian people and their unwavering faith in the value of their homeland. Motivated by this awareness and conviction, Egyptians rose up and filled the streets and public squares, standing hand in hand with a united will to support their courageous Armed Forces and the National Police. Through their determination, they reclaimed their nation, safeguarded its unity, and secured its present and future.
In the spirit of June 30, the journey of nation-building has continued, giving rise to the New Republic, which has faced—and continues to face—significant domestic, regional, and international challenges. We are confident that, with the support of the honorable sons and daughters of the nation, Egypt is capable of overcoming these challenges, achieving its aspirations and goals, and advancing toward a future worthy of Egypt and its people.
We pray that God may protect our beloved homeland, keep it safe from all harm, and bless it with lasting progress and stability.
