His Holiness Pope Tawadros II participated this evening in the inauguration ceremony of the Egyptian State Strategic Command Headquarters, held in the New Administrative Capital. The ceremony was attended by His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic and Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, along with the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, the commanders of the main military branches, the Prime Minister, several ministers, and senior state officials.
The Egyptian State Strategic Command Headquarters serves as a compact administrative and defense capital and an integrated center for crisis management and smart command and control. Its inauguration marks a practical milestone in the transition to the New Administrative Capital, as it connects the state’s sovereign institutions within a unified operational framework. The headquarters is equipped with the latest command, control, communications, and artificial intelligence systems, enhancing the speed of decision-making, improving coordination among the various branches of the Armed Forces, and strengthening the state’s readiness to respond effectively to regional and international challenges.
