His Holiness Pope Tawadros II received today, Monday, at the Papal Residence in Cairo, H.E. Dr. Shaikh Abdulla bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, Minister of Transportation and Telecommunications of the Kingdom of Bahrain and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the King Hamad Global Center for Coexistence and Tolerance.

During the meeting, discussions focused on the importance of promoting the values of peaceful coexistence, dialogue, and mutual understanding, as well as strengthening the security and safety of nations in ways that contribute to building more stable and cohesive societies.

His Holiness also highlighted the experience of the Church’s youth forums, noting their role in building young people’s capacities, developing their personalities, fostering a sense of responsibility and national belonging, and preparing them to participate positively and effectively in serving their communities.

His Holiness emphasized the importance of investing in young people as a fundamental pillar in building a future characterized by peace, cooperation, and mutual respect.
