The 6^th Seminar for Holy Synod Members was hold on ” Our Coptic Church & The Future Vision” from Monday, November 19^th to Thursday, November 21^st, 2018 at the LOGOS Center at the papal residence at St. Bishoy Monastery, in the presence and patronage of His Holiness Pope Tawadros II, Holy Synod Secretary and the presence of 100 of Holy Synod Members.

The seminar consisted of presenting scientific research papers with written and patristic reference that were prepared by the Metropolitans and Bishops in sufficient time before the seminar. The papers were sent electronically to all Holy Synod members for study, and the fathers participated in a free and open discussion on the research papers.

30 minutes were allowed for the presentation of the paper and 90 minutes for discussion for each session.

The participating fathers were distributed into five groups, and the five topics were discussed, and a research paper was used in which the Coptic youth participated during the First World Youth Week of Coptic Orthodox Church (WYW). Each group came up with a set of recommendations presented in the closing session of the seminar.

The seminar ended with a closing session in which the following took place:

• Closing speech by His Holiness Pope Tawadros II
• Presenting the recommendations of the groups that are the work map for the Holy Synod and its synod committees for the coming period.

According to the instructions of His Holiness, this book was prepared to include lectures, working groups and the recommendations of the seminar.

The Lord uses this seminar for the glory of His Holy Name, the growth of His Holy Church, and the salvation of our souls.
