“In the readings of the Last Friday of the Great Lent, we find the Lord Christ saying: “O Jerusalem, O Jerusalem, how many times did I want but you were not willing.” This city symbolizes the stubborn soul which lives in pride, stubbornness, and rejection. Jerusalem gained its punishment and became in ruins. Today’s message is for man to let go of his stubbornness and enjoy the life of contentment” (H.H. Pope Tawadros II).
