The Lord Christ ascended from Mount Olives and prior to this, He passed by Bethany and the Garden of Gethsemane, which He passed through in Holy Week. This teaches us that Ascension is a fruit of the Cross. Our Christianity is heavenly, beginning and ending in heaven.
