On October 16, 2024, the Papal Office for Projects proudly launched the Bridges of Peace program, reaffirming our commitment to promoting peace, love, tolerance, and respect for all. Rooted in Egypt’s rich history and blessed by the visit of the Holy Family, this initiative seeks to strengthen social harmony and unity.

Signing the MOU with the National Council of Human Rights
On the same day as the program’s launch, the Papal Office for Projects signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the National Council for Human Rights. This collaboration aims to strengthen efforts to promote peace, respect for human rights, and social justice. The MOU will also focus on fostering tolerance, combating discrimination, and ensuring the sustainability of initiatives to empower communities and promote social dialogue
Participation in the Presidential Initiative “Bedaya”
As part of Egypt’s Presidential Initiative “Bedaya” (A New Beginning for a Human Being), the Papal Office for Projects played an active role in promoting community development. Through a series of awareness sessions, workshops, and essential services, the initiative empowered individuals with the knowledge and skills needed for personal and societal growth.
Held from October 29 to October 31, 2024, the initiative focused on key areas such as health, education, culture, and behavioral development, ensuring meaningful engagement and support for diverse groups.
Impact & Reach
Over three days, the initiative successfully reached 2,865 beneficiaries, providing them with opportunities for learning, self-improvement, and positive transformation.
