Under the patronage of His Holiness Pope Tawadros II, His Holiness supported presidential campaigns through the Papal Office for Projects. An initiative was organized under the title My Health is a Trust… My Country is a Trust, in cooperation with the Egyptian Ministry of Health and the National Council for Women, Cairo Branch, at the Papal Residence in St. Mark’s Cathedral in Abbasiya, Cairo.
In conjunction and in solidarity with the presidential initiative 100 Health Days and the My Country is Amanat campaign, whose activities included health and national awareness seminars.
On behalf of the Ministry of Health, Dr. Mona Khalifa, Director of the Public Health Initiatives Unit – Office of the Assistant Minister of Health for Presidential Initiatives at the Ministry of Health, attended and gave her speech about the presidential initiatives launched by the Ministry of Health and their activities. We were also honored by the presence of Ms. Nashwa Al-Hofi, the great writer and journalist, who gave her speech about my country. Our honesty and role is towards the nation, and we were honored by the presence of Dr. Nevin Al-Wahsh, a cosmetic dentistry and oral health specialist and a women’s health specialist, who included her speech about women’s health and ways to prevent diseases.
After the completion of the seminars, a small bag was distributed to all attendees bearing a picture of the “My Country is a Trust” campaign, produced by women small business owners who were supported by the Papal Office for Enterprise in establishing their projects and marketing their production.
The day also included medical convoys such as ophthalmology, internal medicine, dentistry, breast cancer screening, and a family planning convoy, which continued from the beginning of the day for all the Egyptian people.
