The past eight years POP was an intermediary body mediating between donors, implementers, and beneficiaries of the projects being supported.
As of 2021 POP will serve also as a “Convening Platform” bringing together development partners, advocating for quality education and health services, mobilizing the needed resources (technical and financial) and role modeling high quality projects.
A strong technical advising committee in education and health will be established. Through which POP will be more effectively focused on partnerships, cross learning, accountability for results and branding.
The Papal Office for Projects is giving full attention to the increasing poverty rate, and is supporting the needy to ensure that no one suffers from extreme poverty or from hunger. We work towards ensuring that all humans live with dignity and can live a dignified life, and can exercise their human rights to food, education and health.
As the COVID-19 pandemic struck the world and even years before, millions of people each year are added to the global hunger count, POP will continue to support them.
