Today, H.H. Pope Tawadros II bestowed the rank of hegumen on three priests from Maadi. The rite began during the divine liturgy of the Third Sunday of the Holy Fifty Days. The service was celebrated by H.H. Pope Tawadros II at the Church of St. Mark the Apostle in Maadi following the consecration of two altars, iconostasis, and sanctuary of the church alongside the participation of 10 other bishops.

Heg. Fr. Armia Abdo, priest of the Church of St. Mina the Martyr and St. Augustine in Dar el-Salam.
Heg. Fr. Isaiah Lamei, priest of the Church of St. Mina the Martyr and St. Augustine in Dar el-Salam.
Heg. Fr. Abram Abdalla, priest of the Church of St. Arsanius in Kostika.
