This morning’s program of the first Logos Forum for the youth of the Coptic Orthodox Church included many segments, most notably the meeting of Dr. Ashraf Sobhy, the Minister of Youth and Sports, with the young men and women participating in the forum at the Logos Center in the Papal Residence of the Monastery of St. Bishoy in Wadi el-Natrun, in the presence of H.H. Pope Tawadros II.
He asserted that the Egyptian youth are the cornerstone of the Egyptian society and state, and that there are many existing and future plans and visions that have been put in place by the Egyptian state under the guidance of President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi, in his belief of the importance of the youth and in the use of their potential as they are the main driving force of the nation.
The meeting was part of several interviews included in the Forum’s program with the aim of transferring experience and success stories to the youth.
The meeting was preceded by several segments such as the Morning Prayer, spiritual glimmers from the Epistle to the Ephesians, and a spiritual word on joy delivered by Fr. Moussa Nasri.
The Logos Forum, through the Church and nation, titled “Enjoy the Roots” is the first forum of its kind, and in which was participated by about 200 young men and women representing the nation-wide dioceses of Egypt.
