H.H. Pope Tawadros II sent a congratulatory telegram to Counselor Hanafi Jabali, Speaker of the House of Representatives on the occasion Eid al-Adha.

On behalf of myself and the Egyptian Coptic Orthodox Church it pleases me to extend to your honour and to all the members of the honourable House our most sincere congratulations on the occasion of Eid al-Adha. Praying to God to grant good health and guide your sincere efforts to make further progress in elevating the legislative institution to uphold the public interest of the citizens, in order to realize their hopes and aspirations.
