This Monday at the Papal Residence in Cairo, H.H. Pope Tawadros II received a delegation of the Veterans and War Victims Association headed by Major General Mustafa Ahmed Hussein the President of the Association, following the signing of the Veteran Association’s cooperation agreement with the “Rise and Walk” program for people with special needs of the Bishopric of Public, Ecumenical, and Social Services.
The Cooperation Agreement signed by H.G. Bishop Yolios General Bishop of Old Cairo and the Bishopric of Public, Ecumenical, and Social Services, and Major General Mustafa Hussein, aims to provide outstanding and high-quality services to the Egyptian people of all communities in all the governorates in the area of providing prosthetic devices including prosthetic limbs, regular and electric wheelchairs, walkers, splints, crutches of all kinds, and other tools such as the white cane, produced by the manufacturer of prosthetic devices of the Armed Forces.
During the meeting, H.H. the Pope welcomed this cooperation which works for the sake of human comfort.
