Today, H.H. Pope Tawadros II witnessed Maadi’s diocese graduation ceremony of five graduate classes from the Coptic Orthodox Counselling Institute in Maadi.
H.H. bestowed graduation certificates to the graduates of the five classes at the end of the ceremony, which was hosted by St. Reweis Theatre at St. Mark’s Cathedral in Abbasiya and attended by H.G. Bishop Daniel the Bishop of the diocese and Secretary of the Holy Synod, along with members of the Institute’s Faculty.
The Graduate Classes:
1. The fourth class of the Counselling Preparation course which qualifies its graduates to conduct counselling sessions, after 24 students had completed their 6-year studies.
2. The second class of the Preparation of the Counsellor Lecturer course which qualifies its graduates to deliver various lectures in the field of counselling, after 26 students had completed the period of their 6-year studies.
3. A new class of 118 students at the Counselling Institute, after 4 years of studies.
4. 101 Priests from around the world who passed an online course titled: “Troubles of the Soul and Psychological Illnesses;” 31 of them attended the celebration (those residing in Egypt).
5. 106 Wives of Priests from around the world who passed an online course titled: “The Wife of a Priest to the Priest,” with 106 wives of priests taking part in it, with 34 of them were in attendance.
