Today H.H. Pope Tawadros II received H.G. Bishop Yolios the General Bishop of Old Cairo and the Bishopric of Services, members of the Executive Committee of the Bishopric of Public, Ecumenical and Social Services, members of the Planning, Monitoring and Evaluation program, and field coordinators, for the presentation of the annual report of the bishopric’s service, and in the attendance of H.G. Bishop Daniel the Bishop of Maadi and Secretary of the Holy Synod.
His Holiness commended the report and efforts of the Bishopric of Services, and recommended the following:
1. Coordination with the Decent Life Initiative in multiple service areas.
2. Importance of the effective role of the Church in community work, as Christ our Master said: “You are the salt of the earth and light of the world.”
3. Preparation for celebrating the 60th year anniversary of the establishment of the Bishopric of Services on September 30, 2022, if the Lord wills and we live.
The meeting concluded with prayers and commemorative photos.
