On Monday Morning, the first Logos Forum for the youth of the Coptic Orthodox Church in Egypt hosted Dr. Rasha Ayad Ragheb, Executive Director of the National Training Academy, who met with the young men and women participating in the forum at the Logos Center in the Papal Residence of the Monastery of St. Bishoy in Wadi el-Natrun. She talked to them about the academy and its activities in qualifying Egyptian youth for leadership positions, that which had in fact already began by recruiting a number of graduates of the presidential program in qualifying youth for leadership (which is currently part of the national academy programs) as deputies in the House of Representatives and the Senate, deputy governors, as well as other leadership positions in the state.
The meeting with Dr. Rasha Ayad Ragheb is the first of several arranged meetings with successful figures in society held with the young men and women participating in the forum, for the transfer of expertise and successful experiences to the youth.
Participating in the forum are 200 young men and women representing the dioceses of Egypt throughout the country, under the title “Enjoy the Roots,” with the aim of making these youth ambassadors of joy as explained by H.H. Pope Tawadros II during his speech at the opening ceremony on Sunday evening.
