Today evening, H.H. Pope Tawadros II Witnessed at the Papal Residence of St. Mark’s Cathedral in Alexandria the Graduation ceremony of the first group of Christian Orthodox Counseling Institute in Montazah Region in Alexandria, under the supervision of Maady Counseling Institute. The First Group of Graduates were 140 among them 14 priests. The ceremony started with a welcoming word from father Moses Fayek Director of the Institute explaining the nature of services and studies of the Institute. Also H.G. Bishop Pavly General Bishop of Montazah Region Churches said a speech welcoming His Holiness then spak about the importance of the Christian councilling subject and the dire need for this service in the Montazah Region. Also H.G. Bishop Daniel, Bishop of Maadi and the Holy Synod Secretary gave a speech thanking His Holiness and the appreciation of His continued support of the councilling service.
After that His Holiness gave a closing speech thanking all attendees, the representatives of Maady Institute and the staff, congratulating the Graduates, emphasizing on the importance of studying and advancement in the counciling subject and the Counseling Education.
His Holiness gave out the Graduation Certificates.
Attended the ceremony from the Church Hierarchy H.G. Bishop Daniel, Bishop of Maadi and the Holy Synod Secretary, and the General Bishops over seeing the Pastoral Sectors in Alexandria, H.G. Bishop Pavly (Montazah Region), H.G. Bishop Elarioun (West Region), H.G. Bishop Hermina (East Region) and Fr. Abraam Emil, Patriarchal Deputy in Alexandria and the teaching staff of the institute.
