His Holiness Pope Tawadros II received at the Papal Residence in Cairo this evening, Father Philip Issa, priest of the Church of the Virgin Mary for the Syriac Orthodox in Ghamra, Cairo, accompanied by Father Saliba Erden, priest of Mar Dodo Church in the village of Basprien, Tur Abdin, Turkey, and Deacon Fadi Korkis, and Deacon Youssef Jacob from the Syriac Orthodox Church, who are currently visiting Egypt, and were keen to visit His Holiness the Pope to obtain the blessing.
