Today at the Papal Residence in Cairo, H.H. Pope Tawadros II received Han Mauritanian Schaapveld, Netherlands’ Ambassador to Egypt.
The dialogue during the meeting revolved around the importance of religious dialogue, and His Holiness stressed that we depend on love and respect for the other.
For his part, the ambassador pointed to the embassy’s interest in the status of women, and after His Holiness the Pope that there are many programs carried out by the church in cooperation with the National Council for Women.
