His Holiness Pope Tawadros II visited this morning the monastery of St.Tadros al-Shatbi in Harat al-Roum, Cairo, where he prayed the monastic prayers of sixteen new nuns, who passed the period of monastic exams scheduled for the monastery. Then His Holiness prayed the Divine Liturgy.
After the liturgy, His Holiness had a spiritual session with the nuns, during which he talked about the features of monastic life, noting that it is life: chosen…different…full of joy and peace.
Participated in the monastic prayers and mass, along with the abbot of the monastery, Tamav Adrosis, and the congregation of his nuns, five bishops and several female abbots of the nuns.
