Today, H.H Pope Tawadros II received H.G. Bishop Raphael, General Bishop of Cairo Downtown, accompanied by a number of priests from three churches of the Cairo Downtown sector, as well as members of the church councils themselves.
These churches are St. Mary’s Church, Maraashly, Zamalek, St. Mary’s Church, Garden City and St. Demiana’s Church, Boulak
At the beginning of the meeting, H.G. Bishop Raphael thanked H.H. for his concern and his care for them and for granting the Rank of Hegumen to some of the priests of these churches.
H.H. delivered a spiritual speech about “The great feast” and answered their questions and concerns, and at the end, he gave them a souvenir.
