Today, Wednesday, H.H Pope Tawadros II meets with the faculty of the Seminary College’s members in Alexandria in the presents of H.G Bishop Pavly, General Bishop of Montaza and Fr. Abraam Emil, Patriarchal Vicar in Alexandria.
At the beginning of the meeting, H.H welcomed his guests and then talked to them about the role of ecclesiastical education, through the Second Epistle to Timothy “Preach the world! Be ready in season and out of season. Convince, rebuke, exhort, with all long-suffering and teaching. For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine, but according to their own desires, because they have itching ears, they will heap up for themselves teachers; and they will turn their ears away from the truth and be turned side to fables. But you be watchful in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, fulfill your ministry. ” (2 Timothy 4:2-5)
After that, H.H thanked Fr. Abraam Bashondy, for the period he spent as Vice Dean of the College since 2013 and for his efforts in developing the spiritual and scientific level of the College, wishing him continued health and wellness, and presented him a souvenir as H.H also welcomed Fr. Andrawes Matta the new Vice Dean of the College.
