This evening, H.H. Pope Tawadros II welcomed a tourist delegation from a Coptic School in Canada to the Wednesday Sermon, as H.H. said: “I would like to welcome our beloved brethren from Philopateer Christian College in Canada. This is a Coptic school in Mississauga, and this school is very successful and its management is successful. With us today is the school principal, Phoebe Fr Angelos, and with us is also Fr Bishoy Wasfy and some of the teachers.”
H.H. then addressed them and said: “ Welcome here. You are touring Egypt as if you want to take Egypt back with you. Welcome, Fr Bishoy, priest of St Mary and St Athanasius Church in the Diocese of Mississauga and Vancouver and Western Canada, and they carry out this visit on regular basis but it was stopped during Covid . They try to attach our children from the second, third and fourth generations to Egypt which is a great thing. They also have many meetings with officials here to get a good idea about Egypt. You are welcome here. We will also take a photo together after the meeting at the entrance of the Residence here.”
