H.H. Pope Tawadros II congratulated the Patriarch Ibrahim Isaac, Patriarch of the Coptic Catholics in Egypt for Christmas, that a number of Churches celebrate today.
This morning, H.H. visited the Patriarchal Residence in Kobry el Qubba, and with him was a church delegation, where H.H. was received by the Patriarch, Metropolitans and priests of the Catholic Church.
His Holiness Pope Tawadros II expressed his happiness at preserving the tradition of exchanging visits on occasions, and his happiness for meeting the Patriarch, the
Bishops and all the attendees.
Patriarch Ibrahim Isaac expressed his gratitude and appreciation to H.H. Pope Tawadros II for his love that H.H. shows in all situations.
The Church delegation that was with H.H. were: H.E. Metropolitan Danial, Metropolitan of Maadi and Holy Synod Secretary, H.G. Bishop Ermia, General Bishop, Bishop Eklemandos, General Bishop of Almaza, Amal City & East Nasr City, H.G. Bishop Mikhael, General Bishop of Hadaia El Qobba & El-Waili, Fr Sergius Sergius, Patriarchal Vicar in Cairo, Fr Kyrollos St Bishoy, His Holiness’s office manager, Fr Moussa Ibrahim, the Church’s spokesperson, Mr Gerges Saleh, General Secretary of the Middle East Council of Churches, Deacon Ramy Rezk, from the secretary of His Holiness.
