H.H Pope Tawadros II the health conditions that H.G. Bishop Bisenti, Bishop of Helwan is going through, which resulted in a Papal decisions to regulate the pastoral and administrative matters in the diocese.
This evening, before delivering the weekly sermon, H.H. said: “I would like to clarify something in relation to that H.G. Bishop Bisenti, Bishop of Helwan. that H.G. Bishop Bisenti is a great bishop, and he has all appreciation and respect, and his health conditions in the last years had made him unable to follow up with the services in the dioceses and to follow up with the priests and to look after the spiritual and pastoral side of the diocese.” H.H. then added: “ For this reason, we formed an internal committee from the diocese, from the priests and servants, and to cooperate with our vicar father there to administer the diocese. The diocese has several weaknesses at different locations, so the decision we took contains many details, and these details are followed by all the churches of Helwan and all the services that are carried out in the diocese.
The committee will present a monthly report on the diocese, and of course, we pray that God heals H.G. and grants him the strength to administer the diocese, and to arrange matters in the diocese of Helwan and its affiliated regions”.
