His Holiness Pope Tawadros II sent a congratulatory message to Prime Minister Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, on the occasion of Eid Al-Fitr, which reads as follows:

On my behalf and on behalf of the Egyptian Coptic Orthodox Church, I am pleased to congratulate you and to all our beloved Muslims on the occasion of Eid Al-Fitr.
We pray that God will bless you with abundant health and grant success to your faithful efforts for development and construction that our country is witnessing in various aspects, so that the people of our country will see the fruits of what they have all sown with toil and diligence, of goodness, growth and prosperity.
