The Egyptian Coptic Orthodox Church, headed by His Holiness Pope Tawadros II, Congratulates His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, the Leaders and Men of the Armed Forces and the Egyptians on the Occasion of the Forty-First Anniversary of the Liberation of the Beloved Land of Sinai.
Our land has returned to us thanks to diplomatic efforts, preceded by precious blood shed by loyal sons of the armed forces.
Egypt’s adherence to peace is a basic choice that represents one of its historical constants, which contributed strongly to the return of the entire land of Sinai, and we are beginning to see its fruits now through the development process that was launched on its land, after the Egyptian state succeeded in eliminating terrorism.

We pray to God to protect our homeland, Egypt, with all its lands, and to bless it with security and stability.
