His Holiness Pope Tawadros II arrived at Cairo International Airport this evening, Sunday, returning from a twenty-day pastoral trip, during which H.H. visited the Vatican and three Coptic dioceses in Europe.

His Holiness met with the Pope of the Vatican, His Holiness Pope Francis, on the occasion of the fiftieth anniversary of the return of relations between the Coptic Orthodox and Catholic churches, and ten years since the first visit of His Holiness Pope Tawadros to the Vatican.
While the pastoral tour included the diocese of Turin and Rome, the diocese of Milan, Italy, as well as the diocese of Austria.
