This evening, the Committees of Faith, Education, and Ecumenical Relations held their meetings in St. Mark’s Cathedral in Abbaseya, within the framework of the Synodal Committees’ meetings that began on Sunday evening.
The Faith and Education Committee, headed by H.G. Bishop Makar, Bishop of Sharkia and the Tenth of Ramadan, led the committee, and discussed a number of issues through the work of its sub-committees. These are committees for church education and theological colleges, seminaries and institutes, religious education in schools, artistic works, educational and research centers, dissemination of doctrinal awareness, and faith review.
While H.E. Metropolitan Serapion, Metropolitan of Los Angeles, led the Ecumenical Relations Committee, in which reports submitted by the Committee on Relations with Churches and the Committee on Dialogues with Churches were discussed.
