His Holiness Pope Tawadros II received at the Papal Residence in Cairo today, Wednesday, eight members of the Holy Synod and the Director of the Papal Court, who were assured of the health of His Holiness and congratulated him on his recovery and his return to his pastoral duties. During the meetings, some pastoral and administrative files were presented for the advice of His Holiness.
Throughout the day, His Holiness met individually with H.E. Metropolitan Pakhomious, Metropolitan of Behira, Matrouh, Pentapolis & Five Western Cities, H.E. Metropolitan Tadros, Metropolitan of Portsaid, H.G. Bishop Ermia, the General Bishop, H.G. Bishop Danial, Bishop & Abbot of St. Paul Monastery, Red Sea, H.G. Bishop Theodosius, Bishop of Mid Giza, H.G. Bishop Philobatir, Bishop of Abu Qurqas, Minya, and H.G. Bishop Nofer, Bishop of Shibin El Qanater.
H.H. also received Fr Sergius Sergius, the Patriarchal Vicar in Cairo and Engineer Rafik Al-Toukhi, Director of the Papal Court in Cairo.
