His Holiness Pope Tawadros II received at the Apostolic Residence in Cairo today, Saturday, Bishop Paulus Sati of the Most Holy Redeemer, Patriarchal Administrator of the Chaldeans and head of the Chaldean community in Egypt, as part of his follow-up to the crisis of the Chaldean Church in Iraq.
At the beginning of the meeting, His Holiness welcomed his guest and then reviewed with him the developments of the current situation related to the Chaldean Church in Iraq. He also reassured the conditions of His Beatitude Cardinal Louis Raphael Sako, Patriarch of the Chaldeans in Iraq and the world, and sent greetings of peace and love to His Beatitude, stressing that he was praying for the stability of the conditions of the Chaldean Church in Iraq.
