His Holiness Pope Tawadros II and the Holy Synod of the Coptic Orthodox Church bid farewell to Heaven, the blessed H.G. late Bishop Mishael, the bishop and abbot of the Anba Anthony Monastery in Krefelbach and southern Germany, remembering his faithful monastic life, which he lived for forty-five years, most of which were before the episcopate, and during the service of H.G. in the countries of exile, and we remember him with all appreciation and gratitude for the selfless service that he provided in his service work, as he established the first Coptic monastery in Germany and all of Europe, and his service to all the churches in southern Germany with all sincerity and honesty in presenting the image of Christ the servant, until he completed his work and went in peace to the place of rest, and we are confident that he will hear the divine voice saying: “Well done, good and faithful servant; you were faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many things. Enter into the joy of your Lord.’”
(Matthew 25:21)
Our sincere condolences to the monks of the monastery of St. Anthony in Krefelbach, the priests, servants and people of the diocese in southern Germany, and his family and loved ones.
