His Holiness Pope Tawadros II, at the beginning of his sermon at the weekly Wednesday meeting today, congratulated his children everywhere on the occasion of the fast of the Virgin Mary, describing it as a beloved fast in our Church.
At the opening of the sermon, His Holiness commended the Church of the Virgin Mary and Saint Joseph the Carpenter in Smouha, Alexandria, where today’s meeting is held, and spoke about the wide and ancient service of the Church, its fathers, servants, and the extension of its various services, the most prominent of which is the Church Hospital, even outside Alexandria.
