This afternoon, His Holiness Pope Tawadros II received Ambassador Ivan Jukl, Ambassador of the Czech Republic to Egypt, at the Papal Residence in Cairo.

The ambassador spoke about the good diplomatic relationship between the Czech Republic and Egypt and his hope for strengthening relations and further cooperation in various fields. He also indicated his interest in archaeology and Egyptology.

His Holiness gave him an overview of the itinerary of the Holy Family’s journey in Egypt.
