His Holiness Pope Tawadros II received at the Papal Residence in Cairo today, Sunday, Ambassador Nada Daraz, the new Consul of Egypt in Chicago. H.H. also received Ambassador Dr. Hossam El-Din Ali, the new Consul of Egypt in Los Angeles.

During the meetings, His Holiness emphasized the spread of the Coptic Orthodox Church in many countries of the world, and that it also has a strong presence in the United States of America. The dialogue also addressed the importance of linking third- and fourth-generation immigrants to Egypt and the mechanisms for implementing this, pointing to the need to encourage them to visit Egypt.
His Holiness appreciated the value of these visits, as they connect Egyptian youth around the world to Egypt and strengthen their love and belonging to their homeland.
